The Torch Keys are made up of Little, Middle and Big Torch Key.

Little Torch is the first of the Torch Keys you will encounter traveling south on US 1 when you leave Big Pine Key. Homes on Little Torch can be found both ocean side and bay side along Pine Channel the channel that separates Little Torch from Big Pine. The boating both ocean side and bay side is easy to both the Atlantic and Gulf. Little Torch ocean side offers a full service marina with boat ramp, fuel and bait along with boat rentals and the launch to one of the Keys most prestigious resorts, Little Palm Island.

Little Torch Key has a population of just under 6000 people. Most of the homes on Little Torch are waterfront or canal homes and open water homes and estates.

Little Torch bayside has the mobile home community of Coral Shores which offers living on canal front homes some with boating access and others that are plugged which offer great snorkeling in your back yard. Little Torch Key bay side is home to Kiki's Sand Bar a popular restaurant that can be visited by land or sea and also Palmers Resort a long time family resort with great boating and marina access.

Average median home price for a mobile home is 112K with the low being 67K and the high of 229K. Single family homes on Little Torch have an average median sale price of 369K with a low sale price of 225K and average median price of 369K.

Boating is superior with only a few minute ride to open water and the Looe Key National Marine Sanctuary from both ocean side and bay side of Little Torch Key.

Leaving Little Torch Key traveling south on US 1 your next island will be Middle Torch Key. There is only one home on Middle Torch and although on the water, mostly wetlands, there is no boating from Middle Torch Key and the only home there is occupied by the owner builder of it for the past 20 years.

To Access Big Torch Key you must drive through Middle Torch bayside across the culverts and onto Big Torch. The culverts are a popular swimming hole amongst locals as there are two culverts that allow the tidal water to exchange between the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean which locals like to ride the tide through. Traveling out on Big Torch there a few dozen homes on canals along with about a dozen open water estates, canal home median prices are 330K while the open water estates range between 700K and 2.3M depending on boating and land size.
